The one on ebay is 'refurbished' which could mean an awful lot of things.

Elsewhere, you can get one off Amazon

Seems a decent enough camera. 5 megapixels is a shit load of resolution. I've got a couple of camera's, the best being a Canon D60 which was worth around £2000 when new. The one you are considering has 1 megapixel more that it.

I bought my camera this time two years ago, then my laptop the same time last year.
I'd recommend checking out magazines in Smiths or supermarket Groovy. They always have the best ten buys under whatever price at this time, for the run up to Christmas.
Mine was £200, voted the best camera under £250. Its an Olympus. They'll also have the best under £100 I'd imagine.
I know sod all about these things so let the experts work it out for me.

After Christmas you'll save 30-50%. If you look in their advertising stuff for the New Year sales now you'll see how much cheaper it is.

Fair tactic but it does leave you rather knackered for taking your xmas piccies though doesn't it.

I tell ya what I know about camera's and photography for that matter, ANY f ucker can do it! a monkey can be trained to push a button ffs, and with the advent of 'photoshop' :P any old sh ite can be made to look half good.

Its a joke artform [if indeed it can be referred to as such], and arts councils are total idiots for handing out precious cash on it that be put to better use elsewhere.

that is all
