1) The FA cup game on SKY reminds me of Rune Vindheim, and that funny story about him getting knacked in the Wonkey Donkey.

2) Getting lifted onto the pitch by 'singyerkuntz' that very same day and starting the Poolie pitch invasion.

3) Walking bulls and kicking turnips: nowt better than to propogate the stereotype that you're a load of country bumpkins is there?

4) Edgar Street - good traditional ground

5) Feeling aggrieved that they got relegated that season after what Brighton did to us on that Fans United (against Pools) day.

4. Errrr ran out of things.

1. Our first game against them was in 1972 at Edgar Street ( ended 0-0)

2. We lost our first home hame against them in 1973 (1-0)

3.Biggest win against them is 4-0 (1995) biggest defeat is 5-0

4. Hereford have scored 4 or more goals against us 5 times in 38 games and lead 20 wins to 11

5. We have met 4 times in the month of December with a record of 1 victory , 3 defeats

if memory serves me right, there's also a big plastic cider barrell on another pole further along!!! Both objects are huge (about the actual size of a cow) and perched on the top of poles about 30 feet in the air.
Bizarre!!!

1) When you mention Hereford to most people, they will at some point mention the SAS.
2) I lived in a flat above a bloke from Hereford, and you would often see him staring menacingly out of his window for hours on end.
3) The Mappa Mundi is somewhere in Hereford.
4) Loads of people in Hereford are thick-set, with lots of curly hair and beards.
5) Games at Edgar Street attract a large number of Poolie exiles, and people who have no link to Hartlepool other than feeling sorry for Pools when we were crap.

Have to admit Darlington's record is slightly better against Hereford than Pools'. Having won 14 to their 10.

O but then again they've NEVER MET OUTSIDE THE BOTTOM DIVISION OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL.
