ok you have the option of either keeping wilson til the end of the season or sacking him and putting tubby in charge.

Who do you want and why?

Turner. Every time. Wilson is inept and is failing to get the best out of the players in the squad.

Taxi for Wilson!

I have had it with Danny boy. Even though I dislike CT, I would sooner have CT in charge temporarily i.e until the end of the season.

It's not going to happen though so it's a bit of a waste of energy.

Plus whoever is in charge is stuck with the same unbalanced depleted squad.

The only thing that might happen is we a get few more through the gate. At least Turner would outwardly show a bit of passion and at least kick every ball from the touchline, I doubt they'd be any slumping against the dug out. But body language doesn't win you points I suppose, and if Wilson can keep us where we are now in the table it's got to be classed as a decent effort. Uninspiring decent. I fear for us at the moment though. I don't see how Chris Turner would make any difference to our results.

Not when he was here he wasn't though. And what restrictions might he have been working under elsewhere?

Wilson. Sorry Turner been away from manangement to long. He did nothing at clubs once he left us, in fact he record was poor. I not saying someone else further down the line but the question was Wilson or Turner. So it Wilson for me.

when will people get a fcuking grip and realise that wilson is not going anywhere.

OK he isnt doing as well as we all expect, but reading the AGM statement, we are short on funds, and to get rid of wilson will cost the club.

So OK the chairman gets shot of wilson and the backroom staff. thats a lot of cash to pump in, then to get a new manager, and backroom staff in is more wages. then you all want money for the manager to spend on players.

READ THE AGM STATEMENT we havent got any fcuking money, so stop your whinging and support the team. accept Wilson is here until the end of the season at least!!!!

Moan over

Another thing that I must have missed, did we actually get a point on saturday with a completely depleted squad? Or did I blink and miss Yeovils winning goal?

yawn2

Are you telling me that you're not concerned about the quality of our performances over the last few weeks? stpid

For it to be a decent point we need to beat Hereford and Crewe.

We can breath easy for a while then.

But as an intelligent man, are you seriously suggesting that anyone else could get that depleted team to play any better?

Based on what?

I am concerned because we are short of players, drastically short of players.

Now I am no Wilson lover, and I want to punch him for his love affair with Foley, but just at the moment what the fook can he do?

So lets have Turner back in charge. Is he fookin magic, and can he suddenly make James Brown fit?

Of course he cant. Wilson must know we are short of quality players now, actually we always have been, but what can he do? You read the chairmans comments. Maybe you should be blaming, and yawning at him?

Had we started the game as we finished it playing 4-4-2 with a bit of balance we would have won. He changed the formation to accommodate Mackay.

We'd still have had enough to beat Yeovil.

Christ on a bike.

I seem to recall people saying similar about Scotty and that it wasn't his fault that Boyd and Porter were injured and that everything would be ok when they were fit...

No.

It's based upon the last season and a half.

Honestly? I'd love to see Chris Turner back in charge. But what I don't want to go through is the whole club in crisis bollocks all over again.

From what I see, we are doing 'ok', holding our own in a division we've not held our own in for long enough in our history to consider it to be our devine right to be in. (does that sentence work!).

In the current financial climate, chopping and changing of managers is an even crazier thing to do than it used to be before somebody invented the credit crunch.

So Wilson stays, until his contract is up, then like any average player who isn't pulling up trees, he'll be allowed to leave and look for another club.

Eh come on Misterb, be reasonable, that was the bloke that led us to three play-offs and half a promotion.

for loyal blue and mr t&c i only started this thread as a way to get people discussing the merits or lack of them for changing manager mid season. And for people to give reasons other than "wilson is a 'lovely lovely person'".

Pok.... Its his nickname!

Aye, he wouldn't have it, would he, if he hadn't have put on a lot of weight after he left us for Wednesday.

He's an ex-pro footballer for Christ's sake, you'd have thought he'd keep himself fit.

I certainly wouldn't want a nickname like that.
