We're in a decent position after playing really badly for most of the season to date. We're 5 points off the play offs and only 9 off the automatic spots.

We generally recognise that the component parts of this team are good enough and should DW get them playing well together then we could go on a bit of a run and get ourselves up there.

The question is I suppose, will we do it?

Yes, yes, yes. We should be thinking of nothing less.

It's a woefully shit division and if Wilson can get it right we should be thinking of the play-offs at least. But I don't think we will.

Automatic - no chance!

Playoffs - possible (wouldn't say it's likely now though)

We WILL be in the next roung of the FA cup though, hopefully playing Manure (it being a bit of an anniversary like!!!)

Your point being?

You yourself said it was doubtful so why is it wrong for me to say it?

I'd still like to be drawn against ManU in January like!

I'd love us to get Chelsea or Arsenal at home but getting them away would do my head in. I hate travelling to London.

As for promotion, I don't want to tempt fate but the Wycombe peformance reminded me off how we brushed over teams on our way to Cardiff. We had the odd hiccup but a lot of games were like that. To be honest, we're consistent at being inconsistent and I can see us finishing anywhere within the top half.

Promotion certainly is possible especially if we get 2 or 3 quality additions during the transfer window. It is important however that we don't lose any ground over the forthcoming xmas period. If we are only 9 points away from auto promotion going into January, the right additions could push us on.

Teams do slip up towards the end of seeason, loss of form, jitters etc, a few years ago there was a team that looked like title certainties in March 14 points clear at the top and they ended up in 2nd place.......

IT'S POSSIBLE TILL THE MATHEMATICS SAY OTHERWISE. You have to have a target or we might as well pack up and call it a day. Anyone who writes off promotion at this point is a miserable silly boy-erer. stupid

Oh aye, we'll piss it.

We hammered Swindon and lost, beat Wycombe convincingly and strolled past Peterborough. Only Walsall have given us a game so far and that was closer than I'm led to believe. We have nothing to fear but fear itself!!

You'll make the play-offs. Whether you get promotion is debatable though.
