Does anyone know where is the best place is to hire a transit van from and how much they cost for a day?

that one down seaton lane is alright, i used it when i moved into my house, 1 day hire cost me £40 i think

LOL, Yes, I know I could search but I dont want to hire one without brakes etc so was really seeking recommendations. :grin:

Mrs Grave and I are moving house and just want to hire a large van for the day.

Not only will it allow us to shift stuff easier but it will give me opportunity to drive like an ignorant bounder, muscling others off the road, not indicating, driving 2" off the others cars bumpers and generally making a twat of myself (even more so than usual :laugh: )

Not a transit but 1car1 hire do a Vauxhall van pretty cheap - I know 'cos I once had to take one when they had no cars left!

Be a bit wary of 1car1, part of their management training is making money out of spurious damage. I am not joking, they have targets for it in every branch.

Actually I'm quite prepared to believe that - but I think it depends on the branch. Stansted are definitely crooks but Donny seem straight.

Enterprise rental at stanley road, According to there website is 30 quid a day for a transit. Feck i dont even know where stanley road is
