just go into any bog stanard electrical goods shop such as curry's and get them to do you a discount. Offer them about 30 % below the display price and negotiate from there.....

I've been looking at these for a while now. Prices are dropping week by week. A month or more back I was wanting a 40 or 42 inch job to go to about £480 before I would buy as they were £550+ at the time. Now that they're 480ish and the sales haven't officially started I'm waiting for them to go below £400 before I think about opening the wallet. I reckon by the end of the year they'll be were I want them to be.

Howay Rip it's not just any old LCD TV; it's by ACOUSTIC SOLUTION!!! rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

Honestly folks, "Own Brand" sets are and always have been seriously shite, ever since the time of ALBA (Woolie's own brand IIRC).

There are only about three or four LCD panel makers in the world. One of them makes the cheap and nasty ones for putting in own-name brands for shops that sell to paupers.

if you pay cash they will say "thank you very much and would you like to purchase 3 years cover for a small amount of £72 per year sir??"

Paying cash is as good as paying with finance.
