Once again I've had to spend absolutely donkies on a Wednesday night scrambling around trying to organise tonights mate and in all honesty I can't really be arsed with the hassle anymore. Getting together 10 or 12 lads to play football at a certain time every Wednesday night should be a pretty easy task but every week I seem to have to spent an age and a fortune in texts organising it.

I appreciate people have families, work commitments, other things to do, illnesses but all I am asking is if you put a message IN ADVANCE on here. It would take seconds and would save me a lot of hassle. If you're not going to know till 5pm if you can play then please just say so, if you know 48 hours in advance that you'll be there then please say so I'm not waiting for an answer on the afternoon. If you're bringing/not bringing your boyfriend/best mate/milkman then please say so I know where we stand and whether to bring in extras. I

I never volunteered to arrange these Wednesday nights, its only because I had the gym membership at the MH that I ended up booking it. In all honesty 5 aside on a Wednesday would have probably died a death if I hadn't put a lot of time over the months into sorting it. I'm not arsed about appreciation for doing it, all I want is the courtesy of not being fucked around every week.

It's been brilliant playing every week, the banter is class, the games are excellent but on a personal note I really can't be arsed with the hassle if people can't be arsed to say if they're playing or not in advance. If it had happened once or twice I wouldn't care but we have literally been scrambling around for players at the last minute every week for what seems like weeks and weeks.

People must surely know 24/48 hours in advance if they're likely to be there, a 2 second post on here is all I ask.

I've just confirmed for next Wednesday. I usually leave it late to say who is coming, because teenage lads are not the most reliable people. But I understand where you are coming from, about the hassle organising. So I will make sure I get a message on here early each week.

I have to add that it is only fair that people do give a yes or no as Mr Tax does go out of his way to try & get a full squad each week & the bunker 5 a side has been a success.

I'd go along with that. A 12 noon deadline from now on then would give us 9 hours to get extras in.

I know a couple of lads who live over the Headland that would play that have played on a Monday before, Chip has his workmates and Norm has always got extras to bring (if only yubep had some mates) so getting 10 should never be a problem.

Yubep- if people can't be arsed to say on here if they're coming or and then turn up meaning we have too many players then I'm not really bothered about them having to turn around and miss out in all honesty. I will hire security guards if I have too!

Chris i do have mates but none will come down anymore, they said there sick of some tall southern lad touching there bum and slipping his phone number in there pockets.
