You need a RS232 cable and if you use a laptop you need the usb adaptor to go with it. Just run the software it updates the firmware in the eurovox and job done.

Sounds a bit too complicated for me that like, plus I don't have the stuff to do it

Basically you need one of these:

Then you download the firmware, or I'll email it to you. You connect your box to your computer, press go on the software and job done. Mr Bus might even lend you his cable if you ask nicely. Honestly its dead simple.
