It wasn't that many years ago that Manure couldn't be bothered with the Cup. Now ITV are throwing money at them that they don't need.

I think Setanta are simply trying to raise subcriptions so they show Spurs/London and Wigan/Manchester etc. ITV are looking for the largest audience that will raise most advertising revenue. The FA need to step in and set criteria for game selection as Setanta/ITV are simply ignoring the tradition of the FA Cup. Early rounds should concentrate on poential giant killing not biggest clubs. Give the FA Cup back to the Beeb :evil: :evil:
