By FA for violent conduct at Fleetwood.

You can't say it isn't warranted. The ref must have said in his report that he missed it after seeing the TV footage. The initial elbow by the Fleetwood lad was a straight red as well for my money though, has he been banned?

This decision has got my back up.

Chris Morgan Fractures Iain Hume's skull and they say the referee decided a booking in order and no further action. Barrett booked and they say decision was wrong so we banning him, because we can.

I did say in an earlier post they might but I didnt expect it, their argument will be he was booked for grabbing the other player and not the elbow.

My point exactly thin, it the "small club" attitude.

It may be totally unfair given the normal precedent and it clearly wouldn't happen to a Premiershit keeper but it does force Danny's hand to try something different. We have leaked so many goals of late that surely most managers would try someone else between the sticks be it Budtz or Cook. At least Budtz can make some great saves its just the one clanger a game he used to let in. He certainly won't play any better with the fans giving him stick from the off so I hope eveyone gives him a second chance.

In a normal league game it wouldnt of had as many cameras on it so it probs wouldnt have been silly, bit silly to do it anyway but infront of 45 itv cameras is just asking for it.

Now's the chance to give someone else a go...

It has nothing to do with TV footage it is to do with the referees interpretation of the TV footage. If the ref looks at it and is big enough to admit that he's got it wrong or missed something then a decision can be appealed or further punishment dealt. If the ref is a stubborn twat who won't admit he's wrong (Neil Swarbrick) then FL will back him and you are pissing into the wind.

If the ref has seen it and punished him for it then it stands, in this instance he's said he's missed it.

Same thing went on with Houchen years back, if the club start to complain, the FA will just twist the knife a little more

The FA are bent as a nine bob note, could ANYONE imagine this happing if that lanky streak of pissle in goal for Man Ure had done the same

PS

Anyone who harbours the thought of becoming a ref should be put in sack full of bricks and dropped to the bottom of the River Smog

Or alternatively he bottled it on the day and now realises that he will get into trouble for not issuing a straight red so he comes up with the line that he's not seen it. If he and his assistant both missed the incident then perhaps they too should have a spell in the stands.

Because the ball dead we had already been awarded a free kick before ALB retaliated.

The Fleetwood lad should have been sent off for leading with the elbow, it is understandable why ALB was riled by the challenge.

The trouble is, it's two different refs with two different viewpoints.I'm all for consistency, but it's a bit much to expect two different people to have the same view all the time .

Just found out.

I saw ITV Footage on Saturday - he would have gotten away with it too it wasn't for ITV letting the FA have a look at the footage.

On Saturday's eveidence, he was lucky he didn't get sent off straight away, but he deserved the ban unfortunately by doing things like that.

ALB was brilliant on Saturday, but he's a very stupid boy.

And unfortunately him not thinking before he acted has plunged us into further trouble. sadx

We don't have any grounds for complaint in this instance, justice has been done. The bottom line is you can't do what ALB did on a football field or you'll sent off. The ref clearly missed it, not a single referee in the world you have seen that and not interpret it as a red card.

By the way, refereeing for our games has been absolutely atrocious this year, that plus the injuries will make this season as bad as last, if not worse.

ALB's fault first and foremost, but it ITV hadn't been there, we could, just could have gotten away with it.

We would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for Michael Grade.

Let me get this right POK, did you describe ALB's performance as 'brilliant' on Saturday?

a) Were you watching the game with lads parents

or (my suspicion)

b) Is your head like the bottom of a babies pram

a or b?
