No, but I did make a Christmas cake on Saturday. They're supposed to taste better if you make them early...gives the brandy a chance to percolate :coool:

Would it work just as well to add more brandy to the cake or is that cheating?.

I thought that you said the other week you were cancelling your delivery of The Mail? If you really did it then you might have a long wait.

Best thing is to make tea or do some tidying up, do it wrong, burn summit, under cook it, hoover up terribly, wash up n get water everywhere, they will say your terrible n never ask or expect you to do it again.

Works like a charm, i never have to make lunch cos i made her sandwhiches rubbish the other week, barely a slice of ham in it, no butter, didnt even cut em in 2, ingenious!

Yes, but the astute female is getting wise to all this, Yubep. You might be surprised at the number of women I know who've got out of live-in relationships and now have live-out partners. That way they get peace, quiet and their own space, and don't have to clear up after someone else.

Why do people bother making christmas cakes? Is it out of boredom?

And more importantly, who the fook eats the godawful things?

My cake is interestingly full of exotic fruits, spices and, of course, brandy. I shall bring you a piece and you'll change your mind entirely.
