Clarky's butchers at Haverton Hill do a thing called a potato dog. It's a hot dog wrapped in soft potato, surrounded by crusty hard potato to keep it all together. Very nice they are.
Is there anywhere in town selling these? I could just eat one

Well alright, more than one.

I had one of them the last time I was in the States, they had it listed under the corn dogs and corn puppies. I never thought you would be able to get them in the North East, it's just a shame I have no reason to go to Haverton Hill.

If they ever start selling grits do a runner as they are the most foul tasting "food" item I have ever tried, a close 2nd came orange flavour crisps in Ecuador.

I'll second that. I thought I'd try some when I was in New York. Never again, absolutely awful.
