... I go into the store and spend over £16 on magazines, pay the money and me and the assistant stand face to face ... "Can I have a bag please?"... "We don't give them out for newspapers" ... "I've just spent over £16 on magazines, I need a bag" .... a bag is grudgingly produced.
I would like to point out at that this lunatic obsession with saving the world (and the cost) by not supplying free bags to customers has backfired in my case.... In future, I'm gonna subscrfibe to my magazines, this was the prod I needed, I also get a discount and don't have to pay to park at the shopping centre ... you've saved the world and lost my custom.
