apparently 99% of the UK population is having troubles, looks like they have either managed to finally switch em all off or we just have to wait a while for a fix banghead

Press 1570 this takes you into secret menu.
Now hit ok on nagravision

Next make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W ect

Now change key 00
(YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE
YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)

then enter 1570

I pressed 1570 and it tried to update then nothing happened of note.

1570 should take you into the hidden menu where you can enter the codes.

it could be the same as texting on a mobile you might have to press the key a few times to get the letter you need

mine keeps saying "data is being updated" and usually that gets the channels working but it just keeps doing it over and over again banghead

It took me two minutes to update the codes so no grief and no Mr Ripper, no police at the door either. New firmware will be out within a matter of hours. This happens every six months or so when they try and crack down but a couple of days later eeryone is back to normal.

As for tellys at Comet, you are a QS, the biggest thieves known to man!

I hear from a good source it will be a week maybe longer before we see a fix, virgin media have implemented more protection in the code changes which i fooling the boxes into thinking they are searching for the correct code but it grabs the wrong code, generally the code is nearly correct apart from a few digits, just what i have heard, it could be wrong tho.... codes will change twice a day so use the program i posted for codes for your area.

i was wondering if anyone could help i have a hooky box bought in the north-east but i retuned it into tele-west or whatever it is here and need the code for it or some advise on how to get all the channels back as i dont have the sport and was the sole purpose for buying it in the first place

I have 2 box's, 1 is a self updating 1 and that has gone off and the other is a old one with a card and that is working fine
