Well not in a man love way but he has gone from someone I wish had been released yonks ago to one of my favourite players. Iv slated the lad loads and I apoligise for it. Been a while since iv got so excited when someone recieves the ball.

Now for him to start instead of Monkhouse and show us what he can do in his position (left wing Wilson not fucking left back banghead )

GO ON MATTY!!!

He has improved dramatically. BUT Is he just looking better these days because he is up against the dross which Wilson has signed??

only if you don't drag up where people have criticised him (including me)
but if I did criticise him - he will most definitely have deserved it

You were rightly poo pooed because he was inconsistent. The say if you put a million monkeys in a room with typewriters randomly banging the keys, they will eventually type the collected works of Shakespeare, Matty beat them in a photo finish.

Matty is a good'un. I've always supported him, too.
In fact this is probably where my long-standing debate with Tree began......Glad to see Tree's at last come round to the truth :coool:

ps. I've never been convinced by the eternity of monkeys hypothesis. If the monkeys could eventually write the collected works of William, they could by the same token eventually produce every other book ever written too, which is, well, counter-intuitive to say the least sctatchinghead

Im assuming you have changed your username cos I have no clue who you are.

The way Matty never let the negative shouts get to him and never let his head drop has to be admired il admit that and his effort is top notch. When I think back to people slating him when he came on, getting slated for losing the ball about 5 times in a row but still having the confidence and belief to still try and take players on, well not many would be able to do that. I hope he gets the left wing spot off Monky and really makes a go of it.
