just registered their fifth consecutive clean sheet and yet another 1-0 win, courtesy of Boyd's 9th goal of the season.
It's not that long ago folks on here were saying they'd never have him back at Pools - what would they say now?
How can anybody seriously compare the skill and talents of Boyd to Kyle? Especially based on the respective pay packets of the two players. Let's not also forget Boyd's impact on Orient's season last term.

PS no smart arse comments please about being able to get him back from Luton. I'm talking about now - what if he were available at the end of the season? Could it be a factor in persuading Porter to stay? I think it could - if he's out of contract he'd come back I believe, but will Pools do it?

i firmly believe that porter will be away

i think his mind was made up last year and they could offer him a great contract with a coaching contract on the end but i think he is the type of person who doesnt like being what he would class as being dicked around and will defnitely go.

whilst boyd seems an option theres also scores of goalgetters out there - duffy on the bench last night - the likes of lambert, holt, murray - we could have had them all....

dont think he is danny wilsons type of player.

that siad danny wilson might not be here at the end of the season.

and porter will probably be pledged to someone else by then too.

a team without brownie is depressing enough, but a team without him and porter dont bear thinking about. sadx
I don't see porter staying if Wilsons is here full stop.

and this is where it could all go pear shaped - a new manager comes in and all the good players have left - how do we get a side together and up and running in time to be at least clear of a relegation scrap?
I really do wonder whether there are people at the club who actually see what's happening. What the f-uck is Chris Turner doing?

I'd have Boyd back in a flash. Porter is on his way so we need some quality.
