...comment passed at the match... 'I've seen bigger screens on the flat screens screwd to the chimney breasts up Seaton Lane' .... i must admit the use of the word 'visitiors' does annoy me... if you were beating say Leeds , you'd want it to say Leeds to rub it in, i keep expecting it to play that table tennis game from the seventies. sadx

At least they have stopped flashing up 'Corner' and and even 'Offside' when either of these two momentous events occur rolfl

It is rubbish like, it's doesn't even have a match clock on it the most useful thing on a football scoreboard, if you are unaware of the score you shouldn't really be at the match!!

It would be better if it just displayed game time on it.

.... give em time, there'll be adverts on it next and a small feature film for the quiet periods of the match.

As I go in the Town End and can't see the sodding thing I wasn't aware it did this.

That is embarrasing.

It'd be better with information like time played, other scores, subs etc. Information that isn't always obvious.

But doesn't it already have adverts on, and isn't that its real purpose anyway. As someone has already said, we all already know what the score is.

Come on guys, this is HUFC we are talking about here. There is no professionalism at the club, we all know this. Do you really expect them to release strips on time, have a decent scoreboard, make a decent brick wall etc etc. It just is not going to happen in our lifetime

Why does it flash 'Goal' when the 'Visitors' score?

It should only do that when we score. stpid

It's just so 1980s. Analogue in a digital HD world. It's not embarrassing purely because it can't be taken seriously enough.

How long will it be before somebody nicks the bulbs from the "L"?

I'd like to think that it only said "VISITORS" against MK as Pools did want to acknowledge the existence of that club even when they were in the act of beating us. Hopefully tomorrow night it will say BRISTOL R and prove my theory correct

I've heard that the plan is to make the scoreboard bigger. What is there now is only one part of it. Don't know how true that is.
Y'know those catalogues always wedged in the Sunday papers that are full of incontinenece pants and stairlift cover, well there's always one with a granny reading her newspaper with a massive perspex magnifying screen , looks like the front off a telly, are Pools ordering a 50 foot square one ..?
As for the visitors thing, just let it flash 'TWATS' for the less popular teams

I have to say, I thought the scoreboard was excellent tonight. Looking good. Seems to be getting better by the match. Well done Pools!
