Take Robson from left back, he was poor at Leeds as he is not a left back I don't have a clue why he was put there in such a big game as saturday.

Also I would give Liddle a run out in the middle and have Jones on the bench for a game or two. Don't mean to attack this player as he is only a young lad but he needs to stop having stupid shots as he is not a very good shooter from the chances he keeps having. He need to open his eyes and make a pass to one of the strikers.

What does everyone else think?

The Mail gave Robson a 7 for Saturday? sctatchinghead

I thought our biggest problems this season were at centre half when he plays Nelson and Collins together.

Robson was piss poor, he got tortured all afternoon should have been subbed at half time. All their build up play came down that side.

Surely thats not Robsons fault?

If all of there is play is coming down the left then the left midfielder needs to give him more support, and the midfielders and strikers need to stop the ball from getting to that side.

It's not robsons fault if he was attacked all game by there right side.

And would richie have done any better?

I doubt it.

He would have been tortured just as much.

No what I am saying is he allowed us to get attacked down that side all game as he was leaving too much space and was pushing forward to much and getting caught short.

I don't think the Leeds game was a good game to drop Humphreys as it unsettled the defence. If he really needed to play Robson then he should have had him in midfield.

I'd have Humphreys straight back in and Robson on the left wing instead of Andy Monkhouse to be honest. Get Monky over on the right (where nothing EVER happens) and see how it goes.

I thought that's what he should have done in the Cup game last Tuesday, but if you do it tonight who sits out Porter, Kyle, or Brown?

I think Matty has done well as an impact sub this season I don't see any reason to change, the lad might be frustrated that his good substitute appearances aren't being rewarded with many starts but you've got to understand what is best for the team. Saying that he played well last Tuesday on the left wing. It's either him or Monkhouse competing for the left wing spot for me.

Another confusing thing is why Gary Liddle isn't being considered as a full back or centre back anymore? His first games for the club were at centre back away at Burnley then left back and he was excellent. He's surely a more solid option than Matty if he's going to leave Humphreys out?

We've got to remember that Browny is still only 21 and in only his third full season of senior football, he's still learning and bound to have little dips in form (he been more quiet than poor). He got more involved on Saturday and was unlucky not to score when his goalbound shot was blocked.

I don't think him having a few moderate games is anything to worry about.

Id simply drop Collins, put Clark with Nelson. Liddle into the middle. Humps in for Robson (I like Robson but he is no left back, if Monkhouse is in a "cant be arsed mood" then bring Robson on after 30 minutes) Oh and id drop Brown and give Rowell a game on right wing. Might make Brown buck his ideas up.

can't argue with any of those points - hopefully though, Brown and Monkhouse will produce the goods tonight.
