Apologies if this has been done before, but who is the worst loan player pools have had?
Im sure there have been a few, but one that springs to mind is the goalkeeper, from Sheff Wed?? Lance Key was it?
Or how about the lad Mason from Man City i think? He was.......er....dissapointing

we are in the Guinness book of records for holding the most crap records - so we must have the highest number of rubbish loanees ever. It's easier to name the ones that were good. It would save a lot of time.

You're right, Kevin Poole, Steve Harper, Jan Ove Pedersen,

David Johnson and Frank Talia were ok but then you are getting desperate.

We actually purchased Russell Doig for £17,000 - a lot of money for Pools at the time. He was bad though.
Jim Platt, the Irish international keeper on loan from Boro was good, also agree about Poole & Talia being good & Lance Key being bad.

To be pedantic, Doig was on loan from Leeds before we bought him

Christ knows why, he wasnt worth 17000 lira

Steve Harper and Jan Ove Perderson where ok......

Its a fair point though with loan players the shite ones out weigh the good ones.

A couple that I wasn't that impressed with when we had them but in hindsight we should have signed Neil Danns and Chris Shuker. The worst for me was Adie Mike, Gerard Nash was pretty woefull as well.
