Can't believe it, but just heard Enya of all people is bringing out a new album.

Loved her when I was kid especially this classic from the year my parents got married:



One in a long line of great Irish singers.

Enya "put enough echo on the pizzicato strings and no one will notice I'm warbling a load of mumbo jumbo and repeating myself ad infinitum" is the biggest waste of CD pressing capacity in the history of music.

If you like atmospheric music you can find some reasonable quality stuff on the New Age shelves.
If you like people doing amusing things with place names listen to "I've been everywhere man".

But Enya is neither reasonable quality nor amusing. She's absolute shite. I feel sorry for anyone who likes her.

Just my humble opinion like. :wink:
