Pontefract-born stopper Sam Collins is set to be recalled for Hartlepool's trip to Elland Road on Saturday.
The former Hull defender missed Pools' cup victory over Brighton in midweek after serving a one-match suspension after being controversially sent off against MK Dons last Saturday.

Collins will partner either Ben Clark or Gary Liddle - who stepped in for him on Tuesday against the Seagulls - in the heart of the Pools' back four, with Liddle desperate to win the vote.

Clark remains the favourite to turn out alongside Collins, but Liddle hopes to have given boss Danny Wilson food for thought.

Is Nelson injured then?
Do they know something we don't?

Or is it just another example of media shite?

Bloody useless Yorkshire gits.

At least we have The Hartlepool Mail, the one shining light in a sea of media shite.

I would keep Clark and Nelson in if possible becuase they handled Brighton quite easily as they were limited to chances, Plus Collins has been on a run of poor performances, but saying that, he should get in if Nelson injured and Liddle will surely keep his place in the midfield
