Two games in a week, it'll be flucking freezing, Christmas round the corner, we're playing cack, Rochdale will bring about 15, live on Sky. I already knew several regulars who aren't going and rather watch it in the comfort of their own living room/local

Even with £3 knocked out, we'll be lucky to get 3500.

I think we'll get over 4000 but not much more. A lot will depend on the result at Accrington on Saturday. A little bit might even depend on tonight's Macc/Walsall result. If some people reckon the reward for beating Dale is a trip to Walsall they might be less inclined to turn out. With that in mind - Come On Macc!!!

I'll be there. Watching Pools on TV would be just plain weird. From that earlier post I reckon we've been live on TV 12 times. I was at all 12 games and Monday will be the 13th.

This might add a few more:
http://www.rochdaleafc.premiumtv.co.uk/ ... 52,00.html

Leaving at 4.30 though? They must be mad. They'll do well to make kick off.

I've missed a few of those and watched it on the box but I did once travel 200 ish miles to watch Pools on the big screen against Blackpool if that counts when their knobhead Chairman reduced our allocation.

Well I didn't go - had meetings with clients early doors & earning money ranks slightly above spending it, particularly with Xmas only a month away!

Listened to the 2nd half & extra time on good old Radio Borer & thanked God I hadn't forked out to attend, sounded dire!

Still we got through & I'll be there on Saturday, hopeful of a 3rd win in a row (counting tonight as a win of course - albeit on penalties)

hats off to me and dibbs. in fact if they hadnt put free buses on for rochdale it would have been under 2,500. twas just like the old days huh? watching a crap game between pools and rochdale in front of half empty terraces in the rain. oh dear.

Agree. I'm a tad shocked that it dropped that low though.

Simple really, go to the match and pay over 50 quid for my family of 5, to stand in the pouring rain, or stay at home and watch the match on Sky Sports, that we have already paid for, drinking copious amounts of alcohol to get us through the 'drama' of the night!

Difficult decision!!

Actually I noticed that all the attendances in the first round of the cup were shite, not just ours last night. Take Notts Forest, 18,000 at their home games, 7,000 for their cup first round and loads of the other games with League 1 and 2 teams had low attendances. Maybe no-one rates the cup any more or maybe it's just too expensive to follow footy any more??

Dibbs you're a stoppy home anyway.
