Blackpool is a horrible place. I hate it. Never been to Fleetwood, although I'm told there is a Fleetwood Town FC supporter who lives in Hartlepool (found that out this morning from somebody on this thread)

Gerry Mandrake you really are a first class Muppet. Clearly you have never actually been to Fleetwood have you. Just repeating the same old Blackpool platitudes about our fine town. The truth is what do you see when you go to Blackpool? . . . well, you see the sea of course. What do see when you go to Fleetwood? . . . you see the sea, the Lake District Fells, The Yorkshire Dales and the lovely Forest of Bowland. Simply wonderful views along our promenade, and Fleetwood is superior in almost every other way to Blackpool.

I'm not biased, . . . I don't mind who beats Blackpool.

I've never read such rubbish in my life.
I've been to Fleetwood plenty of times, used to play in a 6-a-side league on the pitches next to Fleetwood High, been to Marine Hall loads of times too.
A good mate of mine lived in Fleetwood and I used to visit him regularly, avoiding the endless streams of boy racers and chavs, I've also got a mate who works at the big asda.
Just because it has a few nice views along the prom, doesn't make it a wonderful place to live & as someone who can't stand fish, I can assure you Fleetwood stinks of it.

"I've never read such rubbish in my life." you say. Try reading your own posts you Muppet.

I used to think I was Working Class and as common as muck, then I went to Blackpool one day and realised I was Middle Class after all!

Stop arguing. We are trying to convince southerners such as those from Fleetwood that we are indeed civilised.

I've found it absolutely comical the Loids you've been mocking us for only taking 92 fans to Brighton on Saturday. I mean this from the must woefully supported club in the football league. Darlington is a bigger town than Hartlepool by a fair way yet you can't attract 3,000 people for a home match when you are top of the league!! I wouldn't care we consistently take more away than you as well. I'm glad you have found such humour in not many Poolies attending the least attractive cup tie ever at the worst ground in the football league on a totally foul day over 300 miles away!

I fully expect your reply to be devoid of any substance as that would be impossible clearly....

the facts are.......90% of the attendances in the first round were absolutely crap - Brighton had only 2,500 fans at their own ground FFS!!!

Oops, the population of the town of Hartlepool as opposed to the population of the council area (which covers places like Newton Bewley etc} is 86,082. The population of the town of Darlington, again excluding the council area which tags on all those outlying places is.............86,075.

You see Snowy facts like that should be ignored whilst point scoring against the Loids

I think when you add those places covering council boroughs of Darlington they have about 9000 more people to descend on the echo chamber compared to us, that's not including places like Newton Aycliffe (Pop 30,000 and home to lots of Loids). What I meant to say (or what I should of!!) is they have technically have a much bigger catchment area than us which suggests the last thing any Loid should do is start on the done to death 'crowd debate'

...to make things worse, the population of the town of Blackburn is ONLY 105,000...... and they can support a Premiership team sadx
