Well Done HUFC clappp clappp clappp

I think they have now realised that due to us being at home on saturday against Wimbledon and then FA Cup on TYUesday and the tuesday after that. i think the club have realised that they will have to cut the costs.

Well done again clappp clappp clappp

I have a sneaky suspicion that after the prominance that ITV gave the highlights both on Saturday night and before the Havant game, with interviews from both managers, that they might show this one live. Would be nice if they did - plus another £75k for showing it live.

Lets just hope it pays off and attracts an extra 1000 or so. Have my doubts though - when price has been reduced in the past it hasn't generally led to much bigger gates. Hope to be proved wrong.

I'd be interested to know how many people are paying in for league matches at the Vic this season, I don't think it's many as I heard we'd sold around 3,000 season tickets so the only way our league crowds will fluctuate much is upwards if we stick around the play off places. I think with adult tickets as cheap as a tenner most regulars will turn up so my guess would be a crowd of around 3,000.

well at this moment in time i would like to hope the latter. simply because if we win the other two games comfotably, people will break their backs to get to the 3rd if they really wanted to

You could be right it was just what I heard before the season started, that we'd sold almost 3,000.

Reduced prices for this 'extra' game is a great idea but as someone else pointed out it doesn't really make that much difference to people in this town, not including the regular fans, they'll go anyway, what would've been a better idea (although it would never happen) would be for Pools to just take the hit with a lower crowd for the replay, tell those that go to keep their ticket stubs then IF we win and IF we got a decent tie in the 3rd round then give a big discount to those with ticket stubs as a reward for supporting them in the less glamourous tie next week. Just an idea like.

they did that years ago in a game against Rochdale, just before we played Spurs. It certainly worked for the crowd against Rochdale that night, which was well up (there were a few knowing looks between the regulars as to who was there for the Spurs vouchers and who wasn't, like). Any incentive to get folks in should be looked at regardless.
I bought my ticket for that Spurs home game but then I just simply never attended the match! I'd been to the away one, and I didn't want to be stood in the Rink End amongst folks fawning over Venables, Lineker, Gazza etc.

Dont think it will add many to the gate, but its been a long time coming, so WELL DONE POOLS for showing some initiative for once.

Spartans Att: 2,742
Loid Att: 2,479

that is shocking Sussex. So bearing in mind our fans had to travel 323 miles and yours less than 5 you want to get a fcuking grip. how many will you lot be taking to Droylsdon? I bet it wont be anywhere near the 92 mark. Id go for 22

I even struggled with the notion of dignifying this cack with an answer. confised

Look Mr Sussex, when you can go to Brighton and get a replay, when you can play Droylsden at home and they take you to theirs, seems like different worlds right??

That's because it is, we like you on here, we like the fact that you can associate with competence, skill, a whole new experince for the darlo fan. But to be honest your barbs are like being beaten with a feather.

Good luck on the 18th, 'cos if you do't have any, your life's ours.

I remember it well.... in the queue for the Rink behind me were what would now be known as Chavs - Vicki Pollard lookalike girls of about 14 asking everyone else for tabs.... they get to the turnstile and get given a Voucher. "Do I get to see Gazza now?" Turnstile operator tries to explain that this will allow them to buy a ticket for the Spurs game, in vain as she bucolically replies "But I only want to see Gazza!" For all I know they went straight back out again.....

I believe one of those may be Heston vs. Leeds if Leeds beat Northampton.
