i was fortunate to be back in my native town last weekend, and was invited to the mill house for a bevvie or two, the mill house?? last time i was in there i got stuck to the carpet, growled at,not a nice place, anyway what a cracking little boozer, live footy and a quality band on to boot, so what happened, was told it is a camerons pub again,is it ran by the supporters club or something, plenty of pools stuff hanging up ,or has the bunker got anything to with it, picked up a bunker card from the bar so here i am, hopefully will be back up in a couple of weeks ,do many fans meet up in there before hand?? bit like it was years ago, only a lot newer, very nice, half decent barmaids as well,

We're glad you enjoyed it, you should try it on a matchday too next time you are here for one. Nice to know that the Bunker 'business cards' on the bar are being noticed too, welcome to the board.
All the same I'm glad you visited us on a non-matchday and enjoyed it, the band that were playing were called 'total Confusion' and the were indeed excellent, hopefully thats just the start, we are hoping to put a bands on on a regular basis, so if anyone out there fancies a gig, give us a call or pop in and see us.
We have a local band, formerly known as the Nagasaki Simbriots, now going by the name of Karma Kings rehearsing in the pub nearly every Thursday so if anyone fancies a look at them they usually start about 7pm.
Just while I'm on if anyone needs a function room or a fundraising facility for free, give us a shout, if we can accomodate you we will, also Xmas parties etc (one prominent Bunker member has just booked his works Xmas do with us), anything you fancy, we are trying to organise an 'open mic' night as well if anybody wants to help out, again, give us a shout.
Tonight , by the way is Race Night at the Millhouse, if anyones in the mood for a daft flutter.
We'd really like to see a few more Poolies in the pub on non-matchdays too, the support on matchdays is phenomenal and much appreciated but why not give us a go in between games, we've got good, regular staff in now, a decent, pleasant, atmosphere and we like to think that it's a 'proper nice pub' now.
As Mr Hpools1908 says, it used to be a bit shabby and rough but we keep it clean, tidy and pleasant and that includes the 'local regulars', we won't tolerate any bad behaviour and we aim to keep it that way, the way a pub should be.
We have all the live football you could want, mostly free and regular entertainment and prices that don't cost the earth, most importantly, good beer and lagers, we are VERY proud of our cellar.
Sorry for going on, you lot know me and my enthusiasm, our staff are just the same.
Come on Pools, 1st step to Wembley tomorrow  (or at least a decent cup run

You never mentioned TRUNKS when you booked  We might have to reconsider your booking, I'm not sure we can afford to pay the staff the rate they would demand to work alongside Nobby in his Speedo's rolfl
