the auctioning of the poppy shirt to raise funds is very commendable. however this will be well out of my price range and i suspect the price range of almost everyone that goes to games as they are chucking in 2 match tickets and some hospitality.

perhaps the club could have raffled one of the shirts so that ordinary supporters stood a chance of getting their hands on one.

Right then

I'll have a pop at at £15:00 if anyone can organise it sctatchinghead
If we get enough we might win and draw lots for shirt, tickets and hospitality or whatever it is
maybe if we get enough interest we can lower the price?
just thinking like

Good idea Mr Out, I will have join that.

Get 49 people involved and the winner can be the one that matches the bonus ball in a lottery draw

Why don't we just collect the names together in a 'Mr Creosote' type competition on here, the early contributors get the best option for the first goal.

Well that its sorted then clappp (if its ok with katcha)
Not sure how much they went for and don't want the post hijacking over speculatins

But if we could get 500, that should sort a shirt out for deffo so poppy appeal well sorted, one lucky punter, very happy, and whats left could go towards a quiz or buffet or drinks or summat...If only there was a bunker friendly boozer nearby..imagine if the landlord fancied one of the shirts behind the bar... :uhoh:  thats you sorted Kev

anyway
A sticky with a list of names who will put a summat in, I think at least a tenner.

The shirts will be made available for auction on Monday 10th November and will run for ten days. Each winner will then be invited down to Victoria Park for Pools' game with Bristol Rovers on Tuesday 25th November where they will be presented with their prize by the player whose shirt they buy.

As well as receiving the shirt, auction winners will also receive two match tickets to this League One fixture as well as enjoying pre-match hospitality at the ground.

we need money and decision on how to decide the winner if we are succesful sharpish

I suppose it depends how much money looks like being raised. I would imagine some player's shirts will attract much higher bids than others.

A mate would also be interested as he was thinking of buying a shirt anyway. He's a non Bunker user but I presume no-one minds?

I would have thought 350 quid would win us any shirt, can't see many paying more than that

Count me in. I just give Tax my cash. Or if there somewhere being used to collect it (possibly Mill House) I just drop it on next home game.

You've gotta b in it 2 win it.... (for our younger customers)

Thats still 37 quid that paypal are going to make for doing fuck all. I can think of better places that £37 could go to!

Why don't we get everyone to put their fivers in by next Saturday (6pm deadline). If there are any remaining numbers then it can be done by paypal?
