Has anyone heard wether he's signing for another spell with us, if he's not I reckon we should be looking for someone similar asap.
I'm not too concerned about having him for the cup match although I think we'd have a better chance with him in but despite his slow start, there's no denying he's had a positive effect on the team since his arrival is there ?

The deal appeared to be that by getting Barker off the wage bill we could sign a replacement, which in the short term is Kevin Kyle.

Should Kyle bugger off (which would be a shame) then hopefully that will at least allow DW to bring in another loan signing within the current budget.

and if we can't get Kyle maybe we should invest in a loan for a defender/GK instead.

If Coventry won't let Kyle play in the FA Cup then he's no use to us this week. Maybe we'll get him back on loan next week.

His name was put on with velcro just in case i've been informed.

Nothing anywhere so far to indicate he's gone back and the loan ran out today.

There's no chance we're paying 6k plus on wages for him. We can get two decent players on those wages.

They may have his name on their backs but I should hope they have not been wearing the shirts!! Someone could kick up a stink about that especially if they have not owned the shirt for long

Thats probably a very valid point misterb, however as we've been waiting for 2 recognised fullbacks for around 2 years now I doubt it will happen unfortunately.

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has revealed that talks with Hartlepool United are continuing over Kevin Kyle.

Kyle's loan deal expired earlier this week and Coleman said that he wants a deal sorted soon ''The chairman is talking to Hartlepool to see if we can sort something out.''

The former Fulham boss went on to tell the CT that Kyle was happy at Victoria Park and would not be returning to the Ricoh Arena ''Kevin wants to stay there and there is no point in him coming back because he is not going to play.

''So him being there suits everyone and we are hoping that something will be sorted out in the next few days.''

I never said anything was 'bolox' and the Hartlepool Mail takes a while to reach here like. Do bear with me. I have to rely on the clubs official website and that.

By the way 'Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster......' bbolt

Either way Liddle is the option isn't he? Same bench as the last six or seven games?

he'll not be missed - I never noticed him this season when he was on the pitch anyway, apart from being "piggy in the middle" who never gets the ball while it's zipping around and past him.
He needs to shape up, he hasn't cut it at this level after over a season of trying.
