A very poor performance against a team who at the start of the game were there for the taking. After the first twenty minutes we were second best all over the field and 1-0 was extremely flattering. I don't actually believe we played well at Carlisle on Tuesday the difference being was yesterday Orient played with the character that Carlisle didn't in fact Orient played well after the the first twenty minutes so it would be unfair not to give them any credit. In fact Carlisle are shite!

The officials were shocking, the referee seemed to have something against us, I'm serious!! Some of the free kicks he gave them and didn't give us were totally baffling. The three offsides that the linesman gave against Kyle as well were outrageous, he then gave a ridiculous free kick against the big man and he inevitably booked for dissent (which had been coming after the offsides when he was mouthing at the linesman). It was a big moment because after that Kyle was anonymous.

I'd like to add something on Boydy's goal celebration, he's a lad who career is going backwards and it's got to a stage to were he's been dropped by Leyton Orient he's scored one goal from open play all season so to expect him not to celebrate such a big goal for him, for me is out of order. He celebrated in front of the Orient fans and with his teammates, nothing else, and running over to the Orient fans is probably a reaction to the stick he's been getting in recent weeks. If we expect someone who is struggling who had just scored an 81st minute winner to simply walk back to the half way line we are far too precious.

ALB 7; Solid in tough conditions.

Sweeney 6; Put in a good shift but didn't get forward with any sort of effect.

Humphreys 4; A total nightmare, regularly got skinned by Melligan and looked nervous in possession.

Collins 7; A decent game, is playing better now. He's still far too quiet to be captain though. Give it to Ben Clark

Nelson 7; Ditto with Collins.

Brown 7; Started the game like a house on fire and looked a threat every time we got the ball but gradually faded as he didn't get enough the ball as we lost the midfield battle.

Clark 6; We were second best in midfield yesterday with Thornton and the number 8 running the show, not as good as he has been but battled away well.

Jones 4; I though he was awful until inevitable substitution, the two lads in the centre of midfield played well for Orient but he was a passenger. Too lightweight and lost possession often.

Monkhouse 6; A hard working display but no real joy at the business end.

Porter 6; Brilliant for the first 20 minutes but faded like the rest of the team.

Kyle 4; After he got booked he might as well of walked off the field. I don't know whether trying not to get sent off affected his game or his just has a questionable attitude because at times he didn't look interested. It's seems he's either superb or appalling!

subs;

None of them did enough to warrant a mark, but Liddle but no better in the middle than Jones had. We miss Willie Boland in games like that.

What has Jones done to keep liddle out of the team sctatchinghead

I think hes been a passenger for to many games and keeps giving away silly freekicks

Ano you should rarely change a winning eleven but hes simply not doing anything
He missed a absolute sitter against Brighton aswell and then they hit the bar somewhat later

Also i thought Liddle did ok against Carlisle in a game where Jones was very quiet again!!!

I don't think Liddle can complain about not being in the team, we've picked up 12 points from 15 while he's been out of the starting line up and if he wants to get his place back he'll have to play better than he did yesterday when he came on as he was no better than Jones had been before him.

We are still missing a creative goal scoring midfielder.......Beech, Cullen, Miller, Pedersen etc.... Neither Jones or Liddle fit the bill at the moment!
