Come on then, how many have stories of sneaking into footy without paying? There can't be many grounds where you can get away with it these days.

On a friday night visit to Southend around 2002/2003, I arrived 15 mins late. The away-end was all locked up and I was already stressed at being late but noticed a gap between the top of the turnstile and the roof. I managed to squeeze through and walked into the bank of seating behind the goal, albeit in the wrong corner!

For those that know the ground, I came out in the right hand corner as you face the pitch and the Pools fans were in the other corner rolfl I didn't know what to do but just calmly walked through the stewards cordon and took my seat. :coool:

Free football and we won 1 nil although Willo scored in the first few minutes so I missed the goal

Does sneaking back in when you've been chucked out count?

How ironic I too arrived late due to heavy M25 traffic out of Kent, missed the ggoal but heard on BBc Essex and got in the side again free of charge just walk in with the local overcoated free loaders on a corporate day. I recall Richie anmd Paul Smith playing well that night in a disiciplined bank of 4 in front 4 defenders formation.

I'd have paid good money to get chucked out of Feethams, if only to avoid the health risks in the Tin Shed. Scabies, TB, crabs, Dyspesia, Chlamidia etc etc...... :uhoh:

i never nicked in as such, but my dad did have a habit of lifting me over the turnstile, whether the person controlling it agreed or not.

it happened for many years until one day i said "dad, just pay me in for gods sake"........i was 15

We had a smashing time that night didn't we

I think half the Pools fans missed the goal - I was on my way for a piss when Eifion broke clear of the defence so I stood and watched the outcome of the attack before I went to the bog, celebrated the goal and went for me piss!!!
