..I tune into Radio Tees to get the lowdown and match report after five to hear a succession of boro fans phoning in and wonder when we'll get some news... after another boro call finishes, brownlee announces that between 5 and 6 it's now boro callers only ...if you want to know how Pools performed, tough! .... he announces that some other reporter comes on after 6 and will deal with Pools, Darlo, non league football and rugby... This bloke is beyond a joke, anywhere he turns up becomes a boro only zone and he's doing it there... it really is not funny anymore :evil:

I tried to find out the score earlier on Tees and the commentator did me a great favour.
He protected me from the news of pools trailing for as long as he possibly could

Not listened to tees once this season after listening to it every other week last season.

Id rather watch a videprinter than listen to that tripe.

Six o'clock arrived and Brownlee departs, .... is it below his dignity to report on any other team than his beloved boro....? The second string announcer duly arrives and after a quick match report and managers comment from Pools and Darlo, we breeze into non- league and rugby, NO phone in that I was aware of and by six thirty the whole thing is seamlessly wrapped up as BBC BORER/LOCAL/TEES, move onto doing what they do best and play the sort of comatose, bland , middle of the road music you can only hear on 'Bedpan FM' .... how the fook do they get away with it

They are a publicly funded body. whose 'contract' is with the licence payer, not just with Middlesbrough Football Club. It was bad enough before, but with the return of borer obsessive Brownlee, we've got a sort of football apartheid taking place, whatever station he turns up on, within weeks of his arrival, there's only one team left standing..... guess who? :roll:
