He hasnt had a chance to be good.. Nobody ever complained about Boyd when he was overweight or Kyle when he first came. :roll:

I think when he signed it was made clear that Wilson didn't really envisage him being a first team regular this season. From what I've seen he has some ability clearly, I thought he played very well in the Carling Cup against Scunthorpe for example but he obviously had to get himself in better shape if he wants to force himself into the 16. No pun intended he's possibly a lad who needs a bit more hunger!

I wouldn't right him off by any stretch of the imagination though I think he was signed as someone who is possibly one for the future.

He isn't though, far from it. I've been to the gym with him a few times and he's just well built, hardly any body fat there at all. He also clocked one of the best scores in the bleep test the other day.
