They could be actual Mackems though, probably not but could be.
I hate the face when i go to pools i see a whole host of shirts ranging from, AC Milan, Man Utd, Celtic, Boro, Sunderland, Liverpool, Chelsea and one Hartlepool shirt, its crazy, what team are they going to watch?

I dont like to see any other shirt being worn at The Vic than ours, but then i think well at least they're AT the vic....not like all the other plebs

Distance is my only issue..... too cold to come on a bike these days.

Its up to the club to attract the likes of these supportes. They employ staff to think up ideas, commercial etc to do this.
Obviously at pools it is not working judging by our gate size of our home games..Why is the question?

Something is a miss when our home gates are the third worst in the division. You can’t use the credit crunch as an excuse because people are willing to travel outside the town to watch football. People need an incentive to come to watch Pools and that is up to the club to sell its self as an attractive alternative to football outside the town. You will always get the glory supporter who follows the top teams, but for most it is becoming to expensive hobbie to watch premier football games with the family.

But you dont go to watch pools either.

It's regrettable but there again if the number's down to twenty things are looking up!

Jump on a train to Newcastle on a Saturday afternoon and the amount of plastic mags and mackem you see is unreal.

it would be nice to think somebody somewhere would put a sign up saying the station is closed on Saturdays
