I've got one called "aqueous cream BP" but it's nowt to write home about.

Why would anyone want to 'write home about' any moisturiser? Would the people you were writing to really care, and would you not have better things to talk about

Clinique do a range for men, but are expensive. For a lower cost moisturiser - try something by Nivea. Has to be from the men's range - don't borrow one from your missus, as men's skin is thicker than womens.

Nivea hand cream is ok as an after shave balm and its about a pound a gallon. Cocoa butter is another low cost but effective solution.

For the more exotically minded; clinique is as good as it gets and definitely my choice.

Yes, I use the stuff (cue comments from ADG) I get dry skin after a shave and I prefer my face not to feel sore. It's nothing to do with feeling blokes bottoms.

Depends what you want to moisturize, for hands Atrixo does what it says on the tin, but it's a bit greasy at first.
Dettol moisturising formula Antiseptic Cream is great on the hands.

For the face I've had the Bodyshop stuff (it was a xmas pressy), that was ok, mostly Cocoa butter if I remember rightly.

aldi sell some gear for £1.95 that has been judged as better than the shite that's £35 an ounce or summat, by a top survey of tart's mags

Cheers for the tips. I do tend to get dry skin after shaving and have used clinique in the past but it is steep.

Would be a bit hesitant to try anything from the bodyshop as i may smell like a whores parlour afterwards.

Just want a decent non-shiny moisturiser for after shaving. Normal after shave lotion does nothing for me whatsoever.

the budget supermarket known as 'aldi' retails some very good moisturiser for 5p less than £2.

many of the leading womens' magazines have judged that it is as good of not better that some of the more expensive brands.

I find Nivea far too greasy, although the tin is handy for if you are travelling. Very user friendly.
