He can be a real asset at Pools, a real asset. He's 27 on the way down with everything to prove. He's better than League One he really is.

I honestly hope with Barker seemingly gone for good it means we have a similar arrangement with Coventry and he's signing as with more games he'll only get better. He needs games, I appreciate he's been shite in the two away games but the twice I've seen him he's looked more than useful. His touch is superb, he wins every single header (without fail) and is mobile. If that isn't an asset I'm not sure what is.

His touch and shot in that instance was superb, so unluckly he hit it too well. Unlike with (no disrespect to a great pro) Barker, Porter looks like he loves playing with Kyle and seems to buzz around him.

And I'll tell you what else I like about Kyle - he's the only player who shouts his mouth off.

Like all players coming into a new club, he needs time to settle/gel. People almost took an instant dislike to him because it broke up the beloved Porter/Brown Partnership.

Now he has a couple of goals and is starting to get to know the players a bit better he will become an asset.

Question for the statto's (Mr Mad John) how many goals have we scored since Kyle came?

Tell you what as well, his celebration for the 4th goal was very, very cheeky! I f*** LOVE that sort of stuff..other players for other clubs do it to us all the time, we haven't had a wind-up merchant like that since Bob Newton!

What happened for us exiles?

my mother would have scored from the chance where kyle hit the post guys.

he had a good game tonight, but i think some are in grave danger of getting carried away.

as someone said earlier in the week, maybe all he needed was to get a scrambled goal from 2 yards out to give his confidence a boost. well he got that tonight. lets see how he performs in the next 5 or 6 games.

Agreed, but he was bordering awesome tonight, linked up the play very well, him and Porter look to be forging a partnership. I hope we can sign him on a longer deal

His touch, strength, and turn created the chance your mother has obviously also played at a reasonable level

i thought the through ball set up the chance personally.

okay he turned well but he had half the goal to aim at and missed.

he nearly missed with his first goal as well from 2 yards out an all. fortunately the defender on the line made a horlicks of it.

after that i thought he stepped up a gear, and his header for the second of his goals was majestic, though credit too must go to robson for an excellent ball in.

i hope he builds on this pj, i really really do.

ive just got this nagging doubt in my head from seeing him sulking and not wanting the ball away from home when we were getting beat. i hope that was down to lack of match fitness and not bad attitude as some of us assumed at the time.

I think you're right to have those doubts. Because with what he has at the age of 27 he shouldn't be at this level and for whatever reason he is. If we can get him fit and consistently up for it we have a gem.

He celebrated infront of the Huddesfield fans when he made it 1-1 than when they took the lead each time they where singing "Kyle, whats the score...." Then when he scored the 4th he cups his ear at them and pointed at the score board. Class!.. they must have been gutted!

He played a handful of games as sub for Huddersfield back in 00/01 season 4 games and no goals.

I've just seen the goals on video. If I hadn't known it was impossible, I'd have sworn the player scoring our fourth goal was Stevie Howard.
