Some of my posts lately seem to have got other use's back's up. To be honest I dont really care, my opinions are based on watching 86 of the last 87 matches as THEY HAPPEN. Northampton away on 12th October being the only game I have missed since Mansfield away on Jan 1st 2007.

So I consider my posts more relevant than those listening to some commentary on radio or Poolsworld more relevant.

What I wont accept is performances I had to put up with yesterday, simply because I support Pools', I can accept being beaten that , after all is football I wont accept player's playing like they did, not only yesterday but on other occassions this season. I also wont accept a manager who wont say it as it is. And I have defended Wilson, but it reaching the point where I dont think I can.

Player's out of position, substitutions that beggar belief, a player brought in on loan in a position WE DONT NEED. Brown and Porter are as good as anything in this division ( in my opinion)

Im not usually negative, and I'm far from a pessimist but I can see a battle against relegation ahead if we dont sort this soon. A battle in this season, of all season's we dont want, to be relegated in our centenary season is not an OPTION. It far worse than relegation any other time.

If performances carry on as they have been so far this season I WILL without a doubt join the Wilson out supporters, I said that before a ball was kicked in anger and I stand by that.

Wilson through the team can only get lucky so many times, yesterday was one of those times, possibly Oldham and Swindon were others so if he was a cat he has used 3 of his 9 lives. Only problem is the chances of him getting lucky another 6 times this season are remote. So if we defend like we are then the forwards wont get us out of jail, meaning we probably suffer 6 more defeats than we can cope with.

6 more defeats more than we can cope with will probably lead to relegation.

Now if that means Wilson has to upset player's and even fans then he has to do it. He has to get mean. So mean that if Collins or Nelson have to sit out games with Clark in instead then so be it. The fact Collins is captain is irrelevant. MY TEAM, YOUR TEAM is far more important, player's come and go, manager's come and go. FANS STAY.

AS I ONCE SAID TO THE EX WIFE A FOOTBALL TEAM IS FOR LIFE A WIFE ISN'T. She went many years ago Pools are still an important part of my life.

so I will praise Wilson and the team when it warrants it , from now on other's will know when I've reached the point of boiling point.

Rant over, bring on Tuesday.

That says everything then doesn't it. A fan who watched 86 out of 87 games is P***** off and we won.

Where were you yesterday?

And as I in the I dont care who I upset mood what the F*** have you got a user name that makes you sound like a F****** Mag for.

If you even say they your 2nd team then that B******s as well there no such thing as a 2nd team. So are you a mag, if yes your opinion counts for even less.

maybe you should have your own board sir?
It does seem that you won't tolerate anyone else's opinion given that you've watched so many games on thetrot.fair play to you and all that but why is your opinion more worthy than any one else's.
I saw the majority of pools matches home and away for many a year but it doesn't make my opinion more valid that anyone else on the board(except to say that that roy hogan was shit wasn't he?).
by the way I think your right about wilson, but what would I know?

another thing I thought that outright abuse was banned on the bunker?

Aren't I allowed to vent my spleen now and again Lord chip? My doubts about Wilson, or should I say uncle Ken, remain.

I have never said my opinion is more worthy than any one elses.

I said my opinion upset people. I then pointed out why I give my opinion. I dont give opinions on something I not seen. Obefemi then comes out with "we won didnt we". Well yesterday the win was secondary to me and thats hard for me to say. I will read/listen to peoples opinions on the grounds that an opinion is NEVER wrong. And thats why when I say IF Obefemi is a mag is opinion means nothing to me. My OPINION NOT ABUSE.

I know what you mean Chip but it isn't just this post and it ain't just this thread, there seems to be a routine acceptance of abuse thats getting out of hand.maybe it's just a collective sense of humour bypass cos we're crap again.3just seems a bit out of order to me.

Nice post Bob.

Sadly the board is full of tards who believe cos we scraped a win that everything is rosey again.

there are one or two who won't criticise the club no matter what - but I reckon there's a majority on here now who aren't happy with the current set up at Pools. When people like Bob are expressing their concerns, then there really is something to worry about - and staving off relegation with our defence is going to take some doing I'm afraid.
I shudder to think what some of the better teams will do to us later in the season if we stop scoring goals ourselves (i.e. through injuries to the likes of Porter and Brown)
It makes it all the more criminal that a player like Sweeney who is a goal threat, gets put at right back. I think Chip already made this point - if we had got a specialised right back then our midfield and attacking options would have opened up. However Wilson seems determined to nullify Sweeney as an attacking threat - criminal to say the least, as Liddle does not ever look like emulating Sweeney in the centre.

I guess it is all about priorities. A while ago I may have had the same opinion as Bob but these days having seen Pools turn from a friendly football club into a cold commercial business I would never show preference to Pools over family.

we seem to be straying from the point of bobs thread but imo he is spot on wether he has seen every game or not
people jumping through hoops because we made an incredible comeback yet the underlying problems remain
i never rated wilson from the beginning but unlike another fan i know who decided to stay away till he has gone yet missed out on a promotion season i go to games
i still dont rate him and it has been said many times this week we can't expect the team to keep doing this bounceback trick wilson said we will hurt someone soon not if you are giving two or three goals start we won't tinkering for tinkering sake upsets fans and players alike along with personal grievances he seems to have with some players collins will carry on getting his game as he is a wilson man but again it has been said that both the centre halves could be 'RESTED" it has been obvious that clark is the better footballer of the three yet struggles to get picked why?

and Walsall should have had a good kickig for letting us back in

there is a genuine sense of frustration among the away following at present

Take a look at the home gates..... It’s across the full spectrum....

Wilson can’t talk to the press, Siege mentality all around. This is no longer the towns club, our points view have no bearing any more what so ever with-in the club daily running. I get the feeling its money these days and local business's. The club do read the board and at times contact members to ask them to stop posting on topics. They don’t ask them why they feel like that in the first place. Its straight on to the defensive and you can’t say that on the net? Why what is the problem of using the likes of this board when you wont listen any more to the life long supporters.

A prime example of club being so out of touch with the supporters was the pre-season tournament. Did they think we would go and watch that tosh, wake up and talk to the people who support the club. The supporters who pay through the turnstiles’

People will say they don’t have explain themselves in the media. I have no problem with that to a certain degree, but its got to the point were it’s us & them. It’s hurting the home – away support and l know a lot of life time supporters who have had enough.

In fact all you have to do is read some of the people who post on this board because they are life long supporters. Something has to give because the club we follow is not performing and we the supporters are the only ones who can see it…Why

This intrigues me a bit. How do the Club contact board members asking them not to give opinions? Via Mr I presumably? But as Mr I doesn't dish out contact details, the Club might as well put up and shut up.

I find the Club's attitude damned annoying. If they were playing the game, supporters wouldn't be feeling so aggrieved. As it is, the Club don't care if we're aggrieved, they just want us not to say so.
Exactly who it is they're trying to impress by suppressing criticism isn't clear. How exactly would IOR be damaged by having criticism voiced? Could anyone with any clout care less whether Hartlepool fans are cross with them or not  ?

You see I wouldn't be able to resist if I called into that show to call Alistair Brownlee a 'lovely lovely person', a patronising Smoggie dog noncing 'lovely lovely person', and for that I'd probably get cut off before I got to probe our boss on possibly the full back situation. Very clever Danny boy, I see what you've done here...

According to the Echo this morning the ban has been lifted.......
