I know a lot of people on the bunker slate the premier league and the contents that go with it, but i cant fault the efforts Nial Quinn puts in. He has help a conference of the Legends (on century Radio) last week for people to call in and discuss matters. from what i believe (through working with Makems) Quinny does a lot these fans forums around sunderland so that he can keep in touch with the fans.

This is first class in my opinion and should happen a lot more with all clubs.

I also heard on way into work this morning that he was also going to help out the "normal" fan in this CREDIT CRISIS!!! Did anyone catch what it was?

clappp clappp to Nial Quinn's Disco Pants

I didn't hear the interview but do agree that Niall Quin has to be one of the nicest persons in football.

He donated his 1m quid from his testimonial match to charity and when the Sunderland fans got refused permission to board the flight from London back to the North East he paid for a fleet of taxis to bring them home out of his own pocket.

I think it was from his Man City days when spotted in a night club by some Man City fans with a dodgy pair of trousers on.

The song goes, Niall Quinn's disco pants are the best, they go up from his arse to his chest. They are better than Adam and the Ants, Niall Quinn's disco pants.

To the tune of here we go here we go ....

I think they even brought out a record?

Thats all we want at Pools - Someone like Quinn or Gibson at Boro... Football people who do care about the supporters.

How many people on this board have emailed the club and never go an reply... How hard is it for someone to reply back to a question.

It must be you.... I've always had a reply when I've emailed the club, or perhaps I just go lucky?

I don't wish to seem like I am in a reply clique here, but I have emailed the club many times and always had a reply too.

I've never emailed the club and I've never had a reply. Out of order of them if you ask me.

Maybe it's the tone of what you say in your e-mails. I too have always had a prompt reply but then again I don't e-mail stuff like 'I can't afford a season ticket, make it cheaper or I'll moan like dripping tap for the next 2 years......'

Absolutely. No doubt after the slagging you have given him on occasions, I reckon it will be Russ Green paying you back with the club not replying to you not emailing them

See they are selfish, all they have to do is email TPP and ask him why he isnt emailing them !, then you could get your own back by not replying, (but maybe they realise that so wont email you) sctatchinghead It really is a difficult situation
