Exactly that is what these people don't get!! No wonder people thought the writing was on the all, no wonder we thought the writing was on all the wall, That game was nearly two years ago and we are were all as down as we were today at half time probably worse. I remember having to turn my back to the pitch at half time the rain was that hard and the wind that strong.. horrrible!! Two years since we had the gumption to do what we did today.

If anyone thinks people who spend fortunes and dedicate a lot of there life supporting Pools are not over the fooking moon when we win like we did today they are mentally retarded. Everyone is, but do you expect when we go 2-0 again.. that after not turning around a game away for two years people will have some sort of blind faith....

so what you're saying is you will only be over the moon if we play well and win?

if we play badly and win you won't be over the moon?

so its all about how well we play, irrelevant of result?

so as long as we play really well, but unluckily lose 1-0, that would be fine?

personally i'm fucking chuffed with every win we get, no matter how we get it, or whether it is deserved.

what we should ALL be pissed off at is the fact that we have only THREE recognised defenders in our squad, it's no surprise we are shipping plenty of goals

What!?

How do you read what I posted then come up with that!?

I was explaining why you got that reaction when we went 2-0 down today, why people thought we'd lost and started to have a go. We hadn't done what we did today for TWO YEARS under Danny Wilson. If we had done it a few more times we wouldn't have as little faith with our away form would we? People are taking the reaction to us being behind and assuming it's because Pools fans want Pools to lose stpid

that said i doubt i'm alone in having gone a long time without seeing pools win away from home, so i doubt its just me.

Here we go.... (waits for Jocks partner in crime to post too)

People are a touch disappointed because todays result papers over the cracks so to speak. Unfortunately there are a number of idiots and gullible folk on the board and at the club who will suddenly think all is well when it isnt.

We need a new manager and a fluke undeserved result like todays simply delays the desired outcome and makes it more likely that we are in division 2 next season.

I dont expect you to understand this jock as you have not got the sense to but Ive tried and thats all I can do.

We've won three times in 23 (a full season of away games) our away form is relegation fodder, yet apprently we should be shouting from the rooftops........

I'd love today to be Wilson's second Accrington as I don't care who our manager is as long as we are performing to the best of our ability. I'm going to take some convincing but today was a great result which has made me feel a damn site better about my football team.

Why don't you ever actually have the courtesy to reply to posts in your direction?

What are your thoughts on Pools? You only ever appear to get your rocks off on getting one over on people because you actually witnessed an away win. Why do you think our away form is so poor?

Sorry Jock, but that post just confirms what I thought about you. You really are not worth bothering with and have nothing whatsoever to contribute. I may be a negative cynical twat at times but I can at least form an opinion and have a good debate. I would sooner listen to a Danny Wilson teamtalk

jock, yet again you fail to answer the question. you are very good at picking faults with all and sundry but whenever you are asked a simple question you refuse to answer.

the point im making is this: genuine hartlepool fans, those like me and parmo that have been all over the country following pools for over 30 years, have very low expectations when we play away at the moment.

yes we are overjoyed at todays win, but im not in the business of writing a season off on the basis of one defeat, nor am i in the business of going overboard after one victory.

do you seriously think me and mr parmo took time off work last week and spent our hard earned trekking to northampton in the hope that we would lose ?

i want pools to win every single fooking game they play. im happy when they win, and im gutted when they lose. you wont see any posts from me hoping we get beat or revelling in poor performances. even after last weeks defeat i took some positives from the game.

personally, based on the evidence of the last 12 months, i cant see us making any realistic attempt at the play-offs while the manager insists on picking players who are either woefully out of form or who lack interest.

as i said in the fanzine at the start of the season, this pools squad is capable of a top ten position, in a division that lacks strength in depth.

at the moment im delighted with our attacking play, and confused by our defensive play which seems to go from bad to worse.

the home games ive been to ( errr all of them ) have been great entertainment. the away ones ive been to have been very poor.

im not an optomist, im not a pessimist. im a realist. and at the moment that puts me somewhere in the middle. happy with a lot of the players in the squad, not so happy with others, and at present id still prefer a new manager

congratulations to danny on the boys on todays great fightback, but the centre of that defence has to be sorted if the season isnt going to mirror last season mid table inconsistency .

very sorry mr chip ive drank to much to be bothered to read all that rolfl rolfl rolfl

Jock the monkey lives in Holland judging by his IP address and I suspect that he is constantly on happy fags. Either that or he gets a bit bored sitting in that window all day and night.
