Nothing could be as tacky and cheaply made os that effort that gets played at kick off time-ish. Kids should NEVER be singing in a song, end of.

Considering im in Hartlepool 2 out of 3 weeks I would know. Tosser. It's got a H in that city name I believe. I could be wrong.

But I'm plainly not an arse, I do have one though. Unlike you who has 2 and talk out of one.

AND! I was talking about the children adding the FOR TWO when its clearly not in the actual song is it.

It's certainly in the version that Pools fans have been singing since 1985.

But surely if he went to matches he would know that?

Ok Mr Ull.

The singing of the words for two, I am led to believe, was mainly an adult choir, mixed in with a recording of the town end, recorded at a preseason friendly.

Also, did it not add to the sales by having some children on there as well.

I conclude that due to knowing very little, you are indeed an arse. But hey ho, it must be something to do with loving Ull.

Tosser indeed. rolfl

I believe there is a H in that city name but it should be a D. that would represent the city itself and the people who live in it! as for the kids singing in that song. do you not think it might have something to do with the club putting their own little turn on the song as it is sung on the terraces?

Whoooooooo, he just stated that he wasn't keen on the record, I don't think he deserves to be shot down for that. The record was a very good advert for Hartlepool United and raised money for good causes, plus all the hard work which went into it, though it doesn't mean it has to be in his top ten does it!!

In addition to its literal uses to refer to the buttocks, "arse" is commonly employed to denote either a) an idiot or stupid person, referring to the alleged stupidity of the donkey, as in: "Don't be such an ass! You're acting like you're five years old!", or pleonastically in "dumb ass"; b) as a short-hand for asshole (itself first attested in 1935), referring to an egoistic person who is acting to make others miserable; or c) a woman regarded as a sexual object, recorded since 1942. In British usage the word is not considered profane so much as coarse—for example, most Britons wouldn't consider it as strong as "shit". However, the word is sufficiently strong that when Prince Harry used it in a 2005 TV interview the event was given significant press coverage, even if very little outright disapproval was expressed[citation needed]. In America it is considered to be a coarser expression and would be frowned upon in polite society, but "arse" is almost never used in the United States, as such—most Americans would assume that the word "ass" was being used.

Well Two out of three ain't bad matty!

I might not agree with him but he's straight to the point, maybe he did go over the top, but sometimes its refreshing to hear honest opinions from people, unless of course his motive only was to piss people off!! Then it would be out of order.

What the fook are going on about?

It was record made by Pools fans for charity in there own time. It actually got in the charts which was a great achievement and a credit to everyones hard work. I doubt it's in anyones top 1000 you nugget but that wasn't the point.

Get a grip you doyle.
