the cook at where mrs.S works is a chelski fan and had been let down by her boyfriend in that he couldn't take her to said match.
mrs.S said to her Ben'll take ya!
she informs me of this and I groan.
she then tells me I would have to stand/sit in the chelski end!!!
I kinda shit myself and groan some more.
she then tells me it'll cost £30 for the 'privilege'!!!
at this point I tell her she's got to be fucking joking there isn't a cat in hells chance of this happening!

anyhoo, just been into her work to get me bike and saw the cook lass, she said its ok I dont have to go now she's going with her mam!

the relief was palpable I can tell thee

Only a rarf would turn down free food and ale on the basis that they don't like Diddlesbrough.

The watching of the match aint the main event though.

The free scran and ale are the highlights.

And the added bonus, you get to watch the Smoggies crying on the way out of the ground when they have been stomped into the ground.

I said this when the rarf first said he wouldn't be going.

Free booze, free food and a good laugh at Middlesbrough football club, sounds like a cracking couple of hours entertainment to me.

I must join the ranks of rarfdom then as I also turned down a freebie in the box for that game, stating I would rather chew my own arm off. :coool:

Ok I've spent me tea break looking up 'rarf' for you. It means..ahem...'a rough chavva, an absolute piece of s***, a scumbag'.
In other words it means whatever the speaker wants it to mean at the time.

I should hope not young Benjamin. There are far worthier fanzine causes than FMTTM.

Monkey Bizz won't pay you like, but you'll be beating the fanny off with a shitty stick.

You are indeed correct Mutley.

Had I attended, I would have laughed so much that I would have guaranteed never to be invited ever again. Now though, the next time I get an invitation, there will be a very small niggling desire to see them get tonked in the flesh. :uhoh:

I was at the train station in Boro about 4ish [on the Redcar side] and it was chocka with chelsea...very,very intimidating atmosphere. Some Boro lads not in colours gave it the big I am arms outstretched etc and got filled in.

needless to say I legged it to the pub and caught the next train!
Relieved tho that I never had to take Debbie to the game and stand with them arseholes.....
