Computer Screen Gone Sideways....

And all the Mouse controls are back to front on the Bairn's PC and she said she never pressed anything!!!! :roll:

I've tried the Monitor settings etc but with no joy!!!! :evil:

Any help would be appreciated!!!! :coool:

I actually thought I'de cracked it cos The Dell logo etc was the right way up but when it went onto her Desktop it was all sideways again!!!! banghead

Must be her settings somewhere!!!! confised

But Honest....she hasn't pressed owt!!!! confised

If this is what I think it is.... try pressing Ctrl, Alt and the Up Arrow together.

On XP (possibly Vista to), most home PCs will alter the way the screen display this way. The direction of the arrow controls the way up the screen is. The idea is that if you want to put the monitor sideways, Windows will do it for you. For those that have never seen it thought it's confusing.... can be a good trick to lay on someone who doesn't know - Ctrl-Alt-Down Arrow will turn the screen upside down, and if they don't know how to get it back it can be a giggle.....

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+arrow key. If your graphics card supports it you can flip the windows display through 90/180/270°. I didn't know this survived a reboot though confised

We turned the display upside down on our PC, before heading out to work, leaving the lads to discover when they got up. I thought they must have worked out what was wrong, because when we got home this afternoon the eldest was working away at the keyboard, then I noticed he had the monitor upside down. clappp

I've just tried it on mine again to see if I was going wrong anywhere on our kids and it worked perfectly....but now the music I'm listening to is playing backwards!!!! confised
