Barker comes to Pools and a deal is done so that Daly goes the other way....Barker does nothing and Daly becomes a prolific goalscorer and ends up top scorer!!!!

I always love that...player gets tortured, goes away and becomes a success and the cry is....."well he didn't do out when he was here" or the ever popular..... "I don't care how many goals he scored since he left here, he's rubbish!" and finally the classic ..... " If he scored all those goals since he left, why didn't he do it when he was here if he's so f****** brilliant...eh?" probably because you verbally tortured the poor sod fron day one!.... :roll:

pools history is littered with players that made a success after leaving the club
there is a fair number that came with a reputation that they did not live up to
the same goes for managers who ever would have thought Mr Clough would have made it else where coming here as an un tried too young to be a manger
