I had a 'Kit-Kat' belt a lot of years ago. Watching the Remembrance Parade on Sunday reminded me of it. I was on a parade in Northallerton, when I was stationed at RAF Leeming, and on the morning of the ceremony the only belt I could find to keep up my uniform trousers was the 'Kit-Kat' belt. No problem as long as I kept my jacket buttoned up, but it almost got me in trouble relaxing with a pint in the British Legion afterwards.

Dead right Mutts, I had one with the Marlborough logo on. You could get them with all the famous brand names on, be it food, drink, tabs or owt.

I wasn't allowed any more snake belts, after I twanged one at our kid as a kind of giant elastic band and hit him on the head with the S bit.

Mutley..deffo 110% they existed. You could get three types, Doublemint (Green) Spearmint (White) and Juicy Fruit (Yellow).

They were very plasticky though.

A fine 70's fashion accessory!

Thanks for that Mr.G!!!!

I thought I was going divvy for a bit then!!!! confised
