Drugs, its up to you whether you do it or not but heroin and crack dealers (and poss coke) should be locked up for twenty years minimum - and I mean proper dealers not people getting a bit for their mates.

Dope - smoked thousands of joints but hardly any in last five years. I loved it, too much. It is addictive despite what many say and it does cause problems if you just sit around and get stoned all the time. In moderation its alright and it causes far far less violence and crime than alcohol

Speed. coke,E's - had some great times but wouldnt put that shite in my body anymore and havent for ten years. People take them because they like the buzz, not because they're impoverished. Coke makes you feel on top of the world so I can completely understand people needing it.

Heroin - evil drug that preys on many unfortunate people who fast become addicted because it does its job - kills emotional pain and takes all your problems away except getting more. The drug is evil, not the people who take it. The big time dealers are complete bastards.

Acid - great if you want to totally play around with your mind. My novel "Kicked Out" has a whole chapter taken from when we took acid in London and got chased by violent squirrels. Experimenting with you brain. I wouldnt dare anymore.

Mushies - usually more chilled out and gigglier than acid. Dont pick the wrong type

Pro Plus - Shite

Tobacco - a complete bastard. I've given up one hundred times

Caffeine - needed in the morning. You can hallucinate by drinking too much. I tried and it worked.

I refuse to say anything else.

Not sure Matty's got it right. None of the students I knew at Hull did drugs (except tobacco, beer and coffee of course)

Tried dope, fell asleep. That was all, no bright lights or visions, I just went to sleep.
Fortunately I managed to stay clear of all pills and powders.

Incidentally, the various drugs regimes in certain occupations pushs young people towards the more serious drugs. Cannabis apparently is traceable for 20 odd days whilst the likes of cocaine, speed etc are out of your body within 48 hours so if you're of a mind to experiment, its going to be the heavier stuff.

Everyone from the club to law inforcement read these boards. Its a loaded question and your IP number is so easy to get and pin point you out. Just because we use a name and post daft questions on the net. You can be found by a couple of clicks on a pc.

Drugs

First of all you are hardly gonna get charged for admitting personal use when in most cases it is likely to be infrequent or from years ago. There is no evidence and the law are petty but not that petty yet.....

On drugs - Canabis made me sleep a lot, i haven't smoked any of that stuff for about 8-9 years and I doubt I ever will again. I had a space muffin last time I was in Holland but that was more for the craic than gaining any pleasure from it, I have known canabis make many feel paranoid and edgy but it just relaxes me a little or makes me kip for a long long time....

I've never had E and I'm too old for that sort of stuff now, it's just never appealed to me. Although it is supposed to be reletively harmless....? Maybe someone could clarify...?

i've taken coke but never bought it, it's very addictive which is why i stopped after about 3 times of having it..... I would never ever touch coke or fet again........

Personally I have done some drugs in the past but dont bother any more.

Ganja - Smoked it very heavily from the mid 80 for around 20 years,good fun at first,the way you could become totally engrossed in the most mundane things,mildly amusing telly can seem hilarious,even Oasis lyrics can see to be profound & smoking in bed with a bewer always led to a good shag.The big problem is that you have a joint & you can kiss goodbye to doing anything constructive for the rest of the day.In the end though it led to paranoia,confusion,chest pains & just wasnt worth it anymore so I gave it up.

Speed - Does exactly what it says on the tin,convenient as a pick me up if your on the drink all day & could shag for England on a comedown the following day (hence the term raging speedhorn)
The whole village of Horden is addicted to speed & injecting it into their veins.

Cocaine - A luxury version of speed,an occasional snort is nice,but it can make you feel totally full of your own self importance

Ecstasy - Back in the days of real ecstasy it was wonderful,these days its mixed with all sorts of shite

Mushrooms - Nice & happy trippy in smallish doses

Acid - Too strong for my taste,I prefferred mushrooms

Glue - My all time favourite,during my schooldays I absolutely loved EvoStik,nothing has ever tripped me out like glue did,I would start sniffing,trip out & come round in a completely different part of town with no idea how I got there,but in 1983 they changed the formula & it was crap after that.

These days Im happy with a few pints of Guinness & dont do drugs at all.

For anyone to claim that dope is harmless is naive & foolish,but its just as foolish to think that just because a drug is illegal its more harmful than the legal ones.
We are all different & so different drugs will have different effects on us & what is the worst (or best) for one guy is not necessarily the same for everyone.

I saw a programme about cannabis a while ago which was going on about cannabis receptors in the brain...that's areas specially designed for cannabis to 'hook' into. Just a minute, I thought, that must mean cannabis-type substances are produced naturally by the body...that can't be right. But I googled it and it WAS right.

In order to get the sort of information that Rivals gave them pretty freely,they had better turn up with a court order before they get anything our of me. Even if they did, databases have an awful habit of getting corrupted.

Tried smoking hashish more than once, with absolutely no effect other than a nauseating one.
Tried the same thing in a space cake and completely lost every reservation I ever had for three hours.

Question for Mr BWH:
If its OK for friends to pass drugs on to friends, and it's OK for those friends to get their drugs from wherever they get them, and so on ... yet it's wrong to deal, at what point up the ladder does "OK" become "wrong"?

You know yourself they only have to serve a court order, freeze the site & use £££££ they have to get what they want.
I once put a post on Rivals & l sh+t you not ! Got a phone call of Russ Green asking me to place a retraction on the post because he said it was incorrect. The artical was about a football shirt on ebay.. no joke.

I went back on Rivals to say the club had contact myself and said the post was incorrect. Russ has never talkled to me since. That is a true story.. Would the likes of Newcastle, Boro etc phone a supporter about a remark on a notice board?

Having spent 16 years firstly in the Navy and then in the Marines you got it drummed into you how bad it is and the consequences of getting caught far outweighed whatever pleasures I may of got from it. I would of lost my pension for life, a dishonorable discharge from the Marines would of gave me little chance of a job in civvy street.

Why not? An honest answer is I have miles better things to spend my dosh on, I don't mind people who smoke blow as many of my mates do but anything stronger and I would have nothing to do with them,

Dope - smoke the stuff nearly every night, no more than 2 single skinners and the solids, the green is far too heavy.
Coke - Yum Yum, wish it was a bit cheaper, but if you can control it and you get a buzz out of it then why not.
Acid - Had many great trips many years ago, loved the stuff.
Ket - Horrible stuff. Tried once and never again.
Speed - Gave me stomach pains then kept me awake for about 2 days. Horrible stuff.

This is a bit different as we're on an owned server. On Rivals/Proboard etc you're always dependant on the parent company. Here we report to nobody and in order to freeze the site they would have to have a court order. I would know about that in advance.

Either way, I don't have peoples names and addresses to give to anyone and I would be extremely obstructive.

We are always hearing that you have to be careful as people may not be who they say they are on the internet & that you cant guarantee that they are telling the truth,so I would guess that someone saying on a message board that they take drugs is not enough to have them prosecuted.

I once got elctrocuted on a set of relays that were supposed to be earthed, I got tunnel vision and bright lights and 'woke up' 20 metres away in the water, the tide was going out and the relays were on a timer or I wouldn't be writing this,..... and I felt fooking great for a week afterwards....now if you can make a drug to beat that, you're a better man than me ... it's not addictive.

Have you? oh yes.we had the spectacular luck to have shrrooms growing on the cricket field next to our school in billingham.you had to get their very early the day after the guy had cut the grass really low.we got caught picking them,but they couldn't do anything.they gave me the best and worst moments of my youth.
we were in a darts league and the team all had a couple of spliffs before a game each week,chucking the arrows was ok but doing the scores in the days of chalk was beyond us.we got chucked out of the league for laughing too much.

Why not? as above and can't anymore as for many years I've either needed my head to be right to keep me in a job,or as now I get tested regularly(3 times this year).As someone else has said the harder drugs stay in the system for a shorter time so there are blokes who gamble.

resin - for years bit up until last weekeend i hadnt smoked it for seven or eight years
skunk/homegrown weed - yes for years but stopped two+ years ago - no reason other than i wanted to - i enjoyed feeling incapable after a few smokes - and i liked the smell.
speed - yes - for a few years
e's- as groovy said - good e was lovely - but when they're cut with ket etc they just lose their appeal, neck em, snort em.

coke - yes - loved it a lot been fairly clean for quite a few years now.
acid - see coke - an enormous big bear hug of a drug - great experiences, great times
mushies - see acid but not as heavy
drink - love it - still do it but don't do it so much
tabs - when i feel like one
contraceptive pill - never tried it.
others - qualudes and associated sleepers - ach they were there i took em, resisted for years but got fed up of being awake for 12 hours and biting my gums all the time

after indulging in a lot of drugs for a lot of years, i decided to stop cos I wanted to - costing too much money, taking up too much of my time being wired etc when i had responsibilties and so on. If i was single with no kids and hence greater disposable income, reckon i would still do em but shit happens times change. They are addictive whatever you do, maybe not in the filthy baghead way were you need some foil and rattle with out it, but in the way you need a tab, that you need more coffee and that you need another beer. The comparisons are there because the need to achieve a certain feeling remains irrespective of what you do. After being relatively free of narcotics for so may years i can take em or leave em and can live comfortably with my huge reseves of will power, a lot of my friends still do them and thats up to them - as equally as it up to those who dont do them.

More good times than bad, so according to the press and the hoi polloi i must be one of the 'lucky' ones.

The only problem i have with those who have not tried them is the stance they take against them and those who have done or do do them. there's no need - it's like bum sex, you either like it or you dont, but until you done it then dont judge.

Speed always made me puke when i was younger , not the drug itself but the ugly slapper you woke up with

As i said, Coke is far too expensive though the asda own brand is not bad at all.

The acid I took years ago was sulphuric which I had great fun with in chemistry at school.

The 2 spliffs I smoke every night are not as good as the ones Holland and Barrett used to sell although the herbal remedies used are quite sufficient to keep me off the tar.

The speed which gave me a dodgy stomach was the result of doing 70mph in my austin allegro.

As for the ket, i've only ever eaten sweets once, never again!!!
