I lost two terms home economics, for what? I still have to visit every 6 months. He fixed nothing.

Trouble is, you've no way of knowing whether the treatment they're advising is necessary or not, unless you're actually in pain. Do you just ignore the advice or will your teeth really drop out if you don't comply?

Anyway, I read recently that going to a dentist every 6 mths is totally over the top, and most people only need 2 yearly checks at most. So that's what I will do

My dentist is a mate of mine so I reckon I don't pay for owt that I don't have to, plus I only have to go once every 12 months
