Get some fooking cash spent and sort that team out. We need full backs and a ball winning attacking aggressive midfielder, oh and some sort of counsellor who can help the team concentrate for 90 foooking minutes plus injury time banghead banghead

Spinless bounders, its just not good enough banghead banghead

Without strengthening we are going to struggle again, the squad is bare and the bench is even barer.
Still, nice to see Rotherham pull off another shock, we dont know the meaning of the word banghead banghead

I agree we need signings, starting with a keeper BUT I thought the players that we do have failed to perform tonight. I think we need Willie back asap as well........

I agree that Jones is playing well but Willie gives us more bite in the middle in my opinion. Maybe shift Lidds to RB when Wille is fit....? i don't know - I'm too pissed off to think......

The problems that we are having in defence are no different to the problems everyone saw at the end of last season. We were all crying out for new full backs/gk over the summer but nobody arrived. I doubt that IOR are going to put more money into the club at the moment, particularly with lower gates.

The question I would pose therefore is should the club cash in on one or more of its assets such as Browny and/or Liddle and/or Jones in the transfer window to finance some strenthening of the defence? It seems the only option.

KH told you @ the end of last seaon that no ££££ would be spent! Has the penny just dropped

Why do you think the gates are down to the hard core? Because people are not going to come to watch a club with no ambition and are 66/1 to win the title @ the start of the season. We went to Leeds @ 5/1 for an away win last night and thats without the Leeds team being issued to the media.

We will be lucky to finnish mid-table. The squad is to small, but KH notes last Saturday say everything is OK.

Quote:
Support the team and Club to the full as in these difficult times whether on or off the pitch everyone needs support and any criticism that is not constructive doesn't help. Everyone needs to pull in the same direction and realise the seriousness of economic mismanagement. The next three games, the first against today's opponents Oldham and then away at Leeds and Leicester, will not be easy but we do have the players to achieve the desires we all have and to make the opposition worry about us. We have the Club's philosophy to keep the economics under control. Hopefully we will be well placed to continue to move forward this season.

Dream On. How are we continue to move forward this season when the people of the town are sick of it. Home gates and even the away support is dropping. Just because you are the only team in the town! The floating supporter has three big clubs to choose from.

Please feel free to call me bad names & yes! l am a Pools supporter for over 35+ years. From the 800 home crowd days to never seeing us win an away game in an season on the road . yawn1 . But l Dont live in the past, l want a team that wants to move forward and out of these two sh+t divisions....

Hartlepool United have been given odds of 60/1 to win League One next season with bookmakers predicting a finish down the other end of the table.
Leeds United and Leicester City are joint favourites while Peterborough and MK Dons are heavily tipped.

Leeds United 4/1
Leicester City 4/1
Peterborough United 11/1
Colchester United 12/1
Carlisle United 12/1
Milton Keynes Dons 12/1
Southend United 14/1
Scunthorpe United 14/1
Brighton & Hove Albion 16/1
Tranmere Rovers 18/1
Oldham Athletic 20/1
Huddersfield Town 25/1
Northampton Town 28/1
Walsall 33/1
Swindon Town 33/1
Stockport County 33/1
Millwall 33/1
Crewe Alexandra 40/1
Leyton Orient 40/1
Bristol Rovers 40/1
Hartlepool United 40/1
Yeovil Town 40/1
Hereford United 40/1
Cheltenham Town 66/1
