I've just retaxed the car online.

Took about 2 minutes, all I had to have was the reference number for the reminder, and the tax and mot was verified without any input from me. Much easier than having to stand in line with a load of sweaty people in the Post Office.

And people wonder and complain about why Post Offices are closing.

I taxed mine online a couple of months ago too. Piece of piss, innit.

Only complaint I've got is I've given then the money 8 days before it's due.

I left it till the last minute last time, and then couldn't find the reminder, or 'log book' so ended up having to do it the hard way when I did turn up what I needed.

Did you get entered into the draw for the free car Mr BP?
Why don't all bills entitle you for entry into a prize draw?

They don't.

I could walk you round our estate and show you a million quids worth of cars.

That song was utter shite. As are the newspaper reports. Ask Saigon Saddler, he's been here.

I taxed ours yesterday and wondered why you were given the option of being entered, yes press one, .... no, press two ....unless it's to appease those amonmgst us with a religious objection.

No, you don't have to if you don't want to although it might be a mercy killing, but then you won't have to kill the entire population of cattle because of BSE or TB, slaughter all the pigs and sheep because of foot and mouth and cause a big panic about salmonella in eggs neither.

Large price to pay for extortionate beer and car tax.
