I like sea gulls a lot, personally :coool:
When I lived away the sound of them immediately reminded me of home

One of the most disgusting sights I have seen in recent months was watching a pigeon that had been knocked down dy a car getting ripped to shreds by a pair of seagulls. The size of them around here is unreal, more like vultures than gulls.

If you watch the Seagulls on the War Memorial, they 'spear' the pigeons then eat them, never mind waiting for cars and busses to knock them out!! Well the last time i was home thats what the crack was!

Probably written at the height of the Cold War when Russians were threatening - mind you, still are !

Yeah, but he sounds Russian when the seagull speaks - usually in films that's used to make the character seem like a threat to the heroes i.e. the rabbits, to make him seem more villainous.

If you really knew your literature PoK you would know that Kehaar isn't a villain, and that he helps Fiver et al to conquer the villain General Woundwort.

I've never seen Watership Down though, Billingham, but I was asked to just see that clip it would make me think that seagull was a member of the KGB !!!!!
