Just been standing in the middle of County Hall round-a-bout watching the Tour Of Britain cyclcist zoom by, impressive stuff, leading pack of 4, then couple of minutes later the peloton with about 40 or so blokes dressed in lycra (mmm nice)

What a police operation though about 50 cop motorbikes drafted in from Strathclyde, West Yorks aswell as Durham constabulary!

Hightlights of TOB Channel 4 tonight 8pm!

Is that the nearest it comes to Hartlepool after leaving Darlo and going on to Geordieland?

Of course, I remember when the Tour de France came through Gillingham - waited near the police station for hours waiting for a good view. As I said, despite what people may think about cycling and cheating, most of the town must have literally turned out that day - once in a lifetime experience !

Well, when a bloke with only one nut, although he has shagged Sheryl Crowe as indeed have I,  has to come out of retirement to win the thing again because they're all LIFTING with drugs, it's a bit of a parody.

What about if you did it again the year after then it will be twice in a lifetime experience, then the year after it will be a thrice in a lifetime experience etc etc etc
