The M60 isn't bad outside rush hour, although the junctions are very close together and some of them seem to be 'missing', eg you pass junction 8 and then all of sudden there's junction 10.

Stockport is a swine to drive through, no end of traffic lights.

I can get you to my house in Newton Heath if that's any good.... having lived here for three weeks now, I can confidently get lost in the City Centre, where are you going?

Well, the wife wants to go to a conference there next week, but the travel seems to be a bit of a chew.

How easy is it to get from Picadilly station to Victoria station? Does it take long? If I was to post a link of a map showing where she needs to be would you be able to give us a clue about the easiest way to do it, and if she would need a taxi from either station or be able to walk it?

If I was to take a day off and drive her over are there any half decent pay as you go golf courses I could amuse myself on while she is at her conference?

Ta muchly for any info.

Could walk it dead easy (about 15-20 minutes), alternatively take the tram which goes straight from Picadilly to Victoria (I'm not sure which line but theres only two to choose from and it should be obvious. Would advise that over a Taxi as its much cheaper and probably quicker!

what you need to do mate is when your at piccadilly station catch a tram thats going to "Bury", this will take you to victoria station. theres 3 stops before it but there is a map of the route on all the trams and platforms. it takes 2 mins and will cost you about £2 at the most.

where is it exactly you want to go? live in manc so be easy to help you mate
