But the most laughable move of the transfer window was Sunderland signing George McCartney for £6,000,000. A player they sold for £600,000 two years ago. An actual product of Sunderland's youth team. I hope the whole league goes to wall once all of these foreign owners get bored of wasting money.

IT HAS TO BE UNSUSTAINABLE...surely? I despair at the amount of money being paid out to players who are as entertaining as a ring side seat at a snail orgy...... I'm also shocked at the number of clubs outside the top six who are just shit makeweight clubs like Wigan , totally unimpressive outfits with no pulling power... in contrast to long established top clubs wallowing in the championship and even lower who have prestigious histories and were destroyed when they tried to compete financially and were blown out of the water.
